Operations Manager

We are the cosiest living room of Amsterdam-Oost, Café Fest, located on the Wibauthof. A living room that offers various possibilities for our guests, mainly students; study/work at your own desk, lounge on the sofa after attending a lecture or beer pong on one of our wooden tables. A second home, that's what we want to be for the students and staff of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. A place where development and connection are made possible, for both guests and staff.

To help realize that, we are looking for a manager! As a manager, you are ambitious and have one goal in mind, which is to ensure that everything at Café Fest runs smoothly and it's always a party. You are open to developing new leadership skills, are a real connector, and are eager to immerse yourself in the world of top service and quality operations.

Job Description

• You lead a team of +/- 35 people;

• You become the face of Café Fest;

• You inspire, train, and lead your team;

• You provide your team with feedback when necessary;

• From Monday to Friday, you are present on the floor to support the team;

• You always keep an overview of the business;

• You ensure that the product and service quality is always top-notch;

• You are the contact point for the team and our guests;

• You manage daily operations such as HR, purchasing, and reservations;

• You know how to come up with and organize cool events.
