We are the cosiest living room of Amsterdam-East, café Fest, located on the Wibauthof. A living room that offers various opportunities for our guests, mainly students; studying/working at your own desk, lounging on the sofa after attending a lecture or playing beer pong on one of our wooden tables. A second home, that is what we want to be for the students and staff of the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam. A place where development and connection are made possible, for both guests and staff.

We are looking for a right hand for our manager. Together with them, you are responsible for the daily operations. You work closely together and lead the team while thinking about business operations. Together you ensure the quality of the product, service, and business results are guaranteed.

Job Description

• You guide and lead a team of +/- 20 people;

• You inspire, train and lead your team;

• From Monday to Friday, you are present to strengthen the team;

• You become the face of Fest;

• You keep an overview of the business;

• You are the point of contact for both your team and the guests;

• You are responsible for the daily operations;

• Thinking along and organising events;

• Working closely with the manager and thinking about how we can make Fest even better.
