We are looking for a driven Assistant Manager for various locations who supports the manager and, together with the team, takes on the daily operational tasks. You are the right hand of the current manager. You are responsible for ensuring all services run smoothly and, of course, for directing your team. In this role, you work closely with the management and the team, and you get the opportunity to develop your leadership skills at one of our establishments: whether that's at the sunny terrace of Kanis, the creative living room atmosphere of Fest, the vibrant energy of Lely, the neighborhood feel of De Groene Olifant or the stylish atmosphere of Café Blooker.    Are you ready for this challenge? Job Description  

  • You lead the employees on the floor.

  • You direct them, guide them, give them instructions, provide feedback, but above all: you inspire them and challenge them; 

  • You always have an overview of the establishment; 

  • You are the point of contact for staff and guests; 

  • Responsible for an excellent guest experience and service;  

  • Close collaboration with the manager and chefs, you dare to propose ideas and improvements and will always strive for the best version of yourself; 

  • You have the necessary knowledge from all sides of hospitality and know how to apply it; 

  • You are responsible for the daily operations and associated administration; 

  • Collaborate with your team to achieve goals and improve the atmosphere;  

  • You work neatly and adhere to the HACCP hygiene requirements.  

Who are you?  

  • Proven work experience in hospitality is required, but you are also eager to learn and looking for new challenges; 

  • You are enthusiastic and incredibly driven; 

  • Relevant permits and certificates are an advantage, you can also obtain them with us; 

  • Friendly, open and service-oriented personality; 

  • You have a strong sense of responsibility;  

  • You are a real team player with a positive attitude; 

  • You are proactive and ambitious to get the best out of yourself, the team and the establishment; 

  • You are available at least 24 hours a week (also during weekends).
