We are looking for a driven Assistant Manager who supports the manager and, together with the team, takes on the daily operational tasks. You are the right hand of the current manager. You are responsible for ensuring that all services run smoothly and, of course, for leading your team. In this role, you will work closely with management and the team, have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, and contribute to the success and growth of De Groene Olifant. Job Description 

  • Directing and guiding the team during your shift; 

  • Responsible for ensuring smooth operation of your shift; 

  • Coordinating reservations, inventory management, and the schedule; 

  • Responsible for excellent guest experience and service; 

  • Point of contact for both guests and team members; 

  • Daily responsibility for the quality and consistency of the service; 

  • Proactively brainstorming with the manager on improvements and innovations; 

  • Working with your team to achieve goals and improve the atmosphere; 

  • Carrying out administrative tasks; 

  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP hygiene standards. 

Your Profile 

  • You always have a friendly attitude towards guests and staff; 

  • You have at least 2 years of work experience in hospitality; 

  • You want to develop your leadership skills; 

  • You have a pleasant manner and are easily approachable; 

  • You have a strong sense of responsibility; 

  • You are proactive and solution-oriented; 

  • You are happy to work both during the day and in the evening; 

  • You are available at weekends.
