In the middle of Amstelplein lies Café Blooker, the beautiful old-style building between the skyscrapers on Amstelplein. A true concept among the business guests! We are open from Monday to Friday for lunch, drinks, and dinner and can be hired for parties and events at weekends. We completely renovated Café Blooker in the summer of 2022 and gave it a new look, carefully compiled our menu, and strive to pleasantly surprise our guests from early morning to late at night with quality, excellent service, and unique combinations that really make you slip away from the office for a bit.
We are now looking for experienced (or less experienced) shift leaders. As a shift leader, you are jointly responsible for the daily operations. You function as the right hand of the manager, think along, take charge, and ensure that the quality of service, among other things, remains high. You ensure that your shift runs smoothly!
Job Description
You take responsibility for your shift;
You make the guests of Blooker feel completely at home;
You lead the team you are on the floor with;
You set the standard and inspire the rest of the team;
You maintain an overview of the premises;
You ensure the quality of service and product at all times;
You are the point of contact for both your team and the guests;
You work neatly and adhere to HACCP hygiene requirements.
Who are you?
You have a love for the hospitality industry;
You are flexibly employable, at least two days a week (day and evening possible);
You have an eye for detail;
You are proactive, a real go-getter;
You are enthusiastic and driven;
You want to develop your leadership skills.
