Winkel 43 is an iconic Amsterdam eatery located on the always bustling Noordermarkt in the Jordaan. A place where local residents, market visitors, and tourists come together for a good cup of coffee, a hearty lunch, or a cozy drink on one of the sunniest terraces in the city. Where every morning the first guests step in for our famous slice of apple pie, and in the evening you can join us for an accessible but flavorful meal from our monthly changing evening menu. Winkel 43 exudes warmth, hospitality, and authentic Amsterdam character. We are expanding! The former cafe/restaurant next door is being transformed and added to Winkel43. Therefore, we are looking for experienced hospitality stars who are eager to make this a success, a very enjoyable mission to work on together.

Job Description  

• You take responsibility for your shift;  

• You make the guests at Winkel43 feel completely at home;  

• You lead the team you are working with on the floor;  

• You set the standard and inspire the rest of the team;  

• You maintain oversight of the business;   

• You ensure the quality of service and the product at all times;  

• You are the point of contact for both your team and the guests;   

• You work neatly and adhere to the HACCP hygiene standards.

• You have a love for hospitality;  

• You are flexibly deployable, at least two days a week (during the day and evening are possible); 

• You have an eye for detail;

• You are proactive, a true go-getter;  

• You are enthusiastic and driven;  

• You want to develop your leadership skills.
