Assistant Manager

Our doors are open from early morning until late at night for everyone, so we have a carefully curated menu ready for every moment of the day. The kitchen team works creatively with delicious fresh ingredients, so even the classics are transformed into a surprising work of art on your plate. 

We are looking for an assistant manager who would like to (learn to) lead a large team, where you aim to maximize everyone's qualities. You also ensure that the guests of LELY can enjoy a perfect experience. You exude hospitality and joy, and you love interacting with people. Additionally, you keep your cool in stressful situations and always strive for perfection. Together with the manager and the chefs, you ensure a complete experience from early morning until late at night.

What will you do?

• You lead the employees on the floor. You direct them, guide them, give them instructions, provide feedback, but above all: you inspire them and challenge them;

• You always have an overview of the business;

• You are the contact point for personnel and guests;

• You make guests feel completely at home at LELY and provide them with the complete package of hospitality;

• Close cooperation with the manager and the chefs, you dare to propose ideas and improvements and will always strive for the best version of yourself;

• You have the necessary knowledge of all sides of the hospitality industry and know how to apply it;

• You work neatly and adhere to the HACCP hygiene requirements.

Who are you?

• Proven work experience in hospitality is a must, but you are also eager to learn and looking for new challenges;

• You are enthusiastic and incredibly driven;

• Relevant permits and certificates are an advantage, you can also obtain these with us;

• Friendly, open, and service-oriented personality;

• You are proactive and ambitious to get the best out of yourself, the team, and the business;

• You are available for at least 24 hours a week (including weekends);

• You have the aspiration to grow within a mature organization.
