We are the cosiest living room in Amsterdam-Oost, located at the Wibauthof. A living room that offers various possibilities for our guests, mostly students; studying/working at your own little desk, lounging on the sofa after attending a lecture, or beer pong on one of our wooden tables. A second home, that is what we want to be for the students and staff of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. A place where development and connection are made possible, for both guests and employees. To help realise that, we are looking for a business manager! As a business manager, you are ambitious and have one goal in mind, which is to ensure that everything runs smoothly at Café Fest and it is always a party. You are open to developing new skills in leadership, are a true connector, and are eager to immerse yourself in the world of top service and quality business operations.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
  • You work closely with the kitchen team

  • You are responsible for the quality and consistency of our products

  • You coordinate and organise the work execution in the kitchen

  • You maintain purchasing and inventory management

  • You receive and check the orders

  • You are responsible for keeping the work environment clean

  • You work cost-consciously, effectively, and efficiently

  • You ensure compliance with safety and HACCP regulations

Who are you?
  • You have a love and passion for the hospitality industry

  • You have demonstrable experience in the kitchen

  • You are available full-time or part-time

  • You have a creative mindset that you can combine with efficiency and speed

  • You respond to current market trends
