Assistant Chef

We are looking for an enthusiastic, young and primarily eager-to-learn assistant cook! At Kanis, you will encounter various challenges daily, where you will learn from our experienced kitchen staff how to deal with them. Are you still studying and looking for a hands-on kitchen experience? Do you want to learn how to participate in the kitchen operations in the coming school year and have ideas on how it can be done faster, more efficiently, and tastier? Then we're looking for you!  

Job Description 

• Cutting, washing, and portioning products; 

• Preparing simple (parts of) dishes, such as soups, sauces, and desserts;

• Cleaning up used materials and ingredients; 

• Preparing dishes according to recipes; 

• Collaborating with management to ensure improved quality and efficiency; 

• Taking responsibility for your own learning curve and development. Everything is possible, provided initiative and eagerness to learn are shown; 

• Complying with hygiene requirements according to HACCP; 

• Cleaning the working environment.
