Assistant Chef

We are looking for an enthusiastic, young and especially eager-to-learn assistant cook! At Blooker you mainly work during lunch and drinks. Every day you encounter various challenges, which you learn how to deal with together with the whole team. Are you still studying and looking for a hands-on kitchen experience? Do you want to learn what it's like to participate in the kitchen next school year, and do you have ideas on how it can be done faster, more efficiently, and tastier? Then we are looking for you!  

Job description 

• Cutting, washing and portioning products; 

• Preparing simple (parts of) dishes, such as soups, sauces and desserts;

• Tidying up used materials and ingredients; 

• Preparing dishes according to recipes; 

• Thinking along with the management to ensure that quality and efficiency improve; 

• Taking responsibility for your own learning curve and development. Anything is possible, provided initiative and eagerness to learn are shown; 

• Complying with hygiene requirements according to HACCP; 

• Cleaning the work environment.
