For Bartel, a hospitality group in Amsterdam, we are looking for a colleague who can join our sales team and elevate our sales and events to a higher level. We are a hospitality group with six establishments in Amsterdam, including the REM-eiland, Café KANIS, Café Blooker, Café Fest, Bar-Restaurant LELY and Café de Groene Olifant. A group where diversity is central. 

You are enthusiastic, hands-on and able to easily switch between our different concepts, from a wedding venue to a beautiful establishment overlooking the 't IJ. With your enthusiasm, you know how to organise beautiful events, attract companies, and convince every organisation to host their event with us or celebrate their party with us! 

Job Description 

• You are fundamentally responsible for a cluster of our establishments;

• You are actively engaged in securing (business) events, receptions and gatherings; 

• You work closely with our sales team; 

• You coordinate the client's wishes with the possibilities at our establishments. This includes organising walking dinners, weddings, all-day company events, etc.; 

• You ensure everything is well-organised on the day of the event and handle aftercare; 

• You actively approach local businesses and set up events, such as networking gatherings and other initiatives;

• You create appropriate financial proposals based on specific requirements; 

• You answer all incoming emails and work with the reservation system Formitable; 

• You are regularly present on location to ensure everything runs smoothly and are always available for any clients.

• You are available full-time;

• You speak and write Dutch and English; Hospitality experience is a plus;
