Operations Manager

Bartel is a growing hospitality group in Amsterdam. Each concept has its own unique concept and vision. Each of these businesses has a management team that creates schedules, places orders, and leads the team. As an operational manager, you are actively engaged in supporting and directing these management teams. You identify potential improvements in business processes that contribute to the company results and know how to implement these changes effectively and efficiently. You work closely with the operational owner, and together you are responsible for safeguarding the ambience, but also the quality of service, staff, and results. Together, you really put the finishing touches on everything. As an operational manager for Bartel, your week begins on Monday morning and ends on Friday afternoon, but you are flexible and involved enough to make an appearance outside of these hours and step in when necessary.

What will you do?

• You will lead the management teams of the different venues;

• You will work closely with the operational owner;

• You will optimise operational execution;

• You will be the point of contact for managers/chefs;

• You will work from Monday to Friday to express the mission and vision of the different venues and strengthen the teams where necessary;

• You will ensure results in terms of costs, turnover, and outcomes;

• Together with the operational owner, you will determine the structure and devise improvements. You will implement this with the help of the business leader;

• In collaboration with the management teams, you will implement strategic improvements.
