We are the cosiest living room of Amsterdam-East, Cafe Fest located at Wibauthof. Our industrial chic design offers various possibilities for our guests, mainly students; study/work at your own desk, lounge on the sofa after a lecture or play beer pong on one of our wooden tables. A second home, that is what we want to be for the students and staff of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. A place where growth and connection are made possible, for both guests and staff.

We are looking for experienced and less experienced staff for behind the bar and in the service. You ensure that the guests of Café Fest can enjoy a perfect experience. You exude hospitality and fun and you love to interact with people. In addition, you keep your head cool in stressful situations and always strive for perfection.

Job Description

• Making it a fun working day together with your team;

• Facilitating explanations of the menu;

• Taking orders;

• Preparing drinks;

• Setting and clearing tables;

• Serving dishes and drinks;

• Processing payments;

• Ensuring that Café Fest's standards are upheld and that guests leave with a good feeling;

• Creating a pleasant atmosphere that is also felt by all guests.

Who are you?

• Experience in hospitality is a plus;

• You are enthusiastic, flexible and a true team player;

• You always have a hospitable attitude;

• Your goal is to give every guest their dream evening;

• You reside in Amsterdam or the surrounding area;

• You are available at least 2 days;

• You have a love for hospitality.
