This stunning establishment is where the entire neighborhood loves to spend their free time! Hospitality and conviviality are paramount in this concept, and everyone is welcome for a nice beer on the terrace, a delicious bottle of wine with a cheese platter, an extensive dinner in the evening, or a cocktail in the late hours. There is something for everyone, and everyone will feel at home here.

We are looking for experienced and less experienced staff for behind the bar and in service. You ensure that the guests of De Groene Olifant can enjoy a perfect experience. You exude hospitality and joy, and you love interacting with people. In addition, you keep a cool head in stressful situations and always strive for perfection. 

Job Description

• You create a fun workday together with the team;

• Facilitate explaining the menu;

• Taking orders;

• Preparing drinks;

• Setting and clearing tables;

• Serving dishes and drinks;

• Processing payments;

• Ensuring that the standards of De Groene Olifant are maintained and that guests leave with a good feeling;

• Creating a pleasant atmosphere that is also felt by all guests.

Who are you?

• Experience in hospitality is a plus;

• You are available at least two days a week;

• You are enthusiastic, flexible, and a true team player;

• You always have a hospitable attitude;

• Your goal is to provide every guest with their dream evening;

• You live in Amsterdam or the surrounding area;

• You are available for at least 2 days

• You have a love for hospitality.
