LELY exudes energy! Besides delicious dishes and an extensive drinks menu, there is a good chance that you will meet new people with us. Our doors are open from early in the morning until late at night for everyone, therefore we have a carefully composed menu ready for every moment of the day. The kitchen team works creatively with delicious fresh ingredients, so even the classics are transformed into a surprising work of art on your plate.
We are looking for a sous-chef who supports the chef in further developing the organisation and the menu, is creative and not afraid to bring (too) crazy products from different parts of the world together on a plate and, above all, is a huge team player! Together with the chef, you will take the current team under your wing and, among other things, take responsibility for the daily operation.
The role;
Leading and directing your team, you are a true team player;
Co-creating the 3-monthly changing menu;
Partly responsible for the quality and consistency of the kitchen;
Keeping track of purchasing and stock in the kitchen;
Receiving and checking orders;
Responsible for keeping the work environment clean;
Responsibility for identifying special features and defects in the work environment;
Cost-conscious, effective and efficient working;
Supervising compliance with safety regulations;
Responsible for HACCP.
Who are you?
Proven management experience in the kitchen, or ambitious & fast learning;
Full-time available (4-day working week negotiable);
Affinity with world cuisine, creative mindset;
Good communication skills;
You have a love for hospitality;
Positive attitude & you ensure a pleasant working atmosphere.
