About de Groene Olifant 

de Groene Olifant is a café-restaurant in Amsterdam-East. Café-restaurant 2.0, where the Dutch kitchen is central with French elements. You could call it a Dutch bistro.

Hospitality and conviviality are paramount in this concept, and everyone is welcome at any time of the day for a nice beer on the terrace, a delicious bottle of wine with a cheese board, an extensive dinner in the evening or a cocktail in the late hours.

It is a place where there is something for everyone and everyone can feel at home. The food we are going to serve is Burgundian with refined flavours that all guests will want to come back for. We are open from Monday to Thursday from 15:00 – 01:00, Friday from 15:00 – 02:00, Saturday from 11:00 – 02:00 and Sunday from 11:00 – 01:00.
